Skin Health Resources
At MoleSafe, we firmly believe that individuals who are concerned about skin cancer and skin care should have access to a comprehensive compilation of resources at their disposal. That’s why we have created the list below of vital references and events regarding the risk, prevention and awareness of skin cancer.
Skin Cancer Foundation
Since its founding in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has set the standard for educating the public and the medical profession about skin cancer, its prevention by means of sun protection, the need for early detection, and prompt, effective treatment. It is the only international organization devoted solely to combating the world’s most common cancer, now occurring at epidemic levels.
Enright Melanoma Foundation
The Enright Melanoma Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise sun safety awareness and to help prevent melanoma through education and early detection. We are a prevention focused doctor-led organization.
The Promise Foundation
The Promise Foundation’s mission began the day a promise was made to Susan DeZaio, a friend, daughter, wife and mother, who died at the young age of 45 after a 22-month battle with melanoma. Melanoma is the fastest growing cancer in the U.S. We are determined to make our expanding community more aware of this potentially devastating disease.
The Valley Hospital
The Valley Hospital’s MoleSafe program is located at the Daniel and Gloria Blumenthal Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art facility located at the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion in Paramus, New Jersey. A designated Comprehensive Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons, Valley’s oncology services are guided by a multidisciplinary Cancer Committee. Valley has partnered with Mount Sinai Health System to provide enhanced inpatient and outpatient cancer services.
